Meet Mohamed
Mohamed is running to represent Michigan to serve his community and give voice to all michiganders. That means representing both majority and minority equally, defend the rights and interests of arab, african, latin and asian communities and defend and expand the middle class and seek income, education and election reforms. It is to ensure that the future of our children and their upbringing is based on family and community values that we all cherish and help our children succeed and generations after them.
Mohamed is a first generation Egyptian American immigrant rooted in Southeast Michigan. Mohamed grew up in Egypt and the middle east. His father was a professor at the local university and his mother was an engineer. He immigrated to the U.S. in pursuit of higher education and achieved his american dream by working in the automotive industry with a side work in real estate as a realtor. Mohamed grew with family values being close to his family both immediate and extended and was raised on diligent hard work, honesty, being ethical and respectable and standing up for what is right. He has a long history of volunteering to serve his local communities that spans over 20 years and is looking forward to dedicating more of his life in the service of others.

Mohamed Zaher
Mohamed grew up in Egypt watching american movies and TV shows. He attended engineering school and volunteered in a charity organization to give back to the community and support those in need. Mohamed moved to Chicago,IL in 2009 to pursue his doctorate in engineering and volunteered to serve the international student community as an event coordinator to enhance the experience of his fellow students. During the arab spring in 2011 Mohamed got together with other like minded egyptians and founded a non profit organization called Egyptians Abroad for Development to provide the resources and expertise needed to promote the social and economic development of Egypt. Mohamed volunteered as an actor for the International Voices Project to bring to life a play by a famous Egyptian playwright. Mohamed eventually settled in Michigan working in the automotive industry and becoming a realtor while serving as a mentor to many engineering students seeking to learn more about their future and how to excel in their careers. Mohamed acquired his Masters of business administration in 2024 from University of Illinois. Working side by side with different ethnic groups and seeing the state of affairs in american politics reflected in local communities and in the global public eye, Mohamed decided to step up and do his part and is now seeking your vote to help enact change in America and to enhance the quality of life for all Americans.
